a)   Place one gateway in every fifth (5) or sixth (6) storage aisles (one gateway to cover five to six storage aisles).

b)   Fasten the gateway upside down above the storage racks. Ideal location is on the load bearing beam in the ceiling.

c) Fasten the gateway with screw or cable ties

Note. If if is difficult or inconvenient to place a gateway close to the cooler, a logger with a temperature probe can be used (CO 07.01 for EU). Then the logger is fasten outside of the cooler and the probe end is extended inside of the cooler

Drive through freezer/cooler

b)    Long/large storage room – Place the gateway outside of the freezer/cooler wall and extend the RF antennas inside the storage room

a)   Fasten the gateway at high point on a column, facing the docking area.

b)   If there is no obstacle for the RF signal, one gateway can cover up to 50m in both directions

Installing loggers 

Loggers must not be placed within the stored goods or behind a metal (such as storage rack beam).

To ensure sufficient signal quality for loggers in the storage aisles, one gateway must be located every fith to sixth storage aisles. This depends of what kind of goods is stored in the aisles.
