Controlant Facility Monitoring system is simple to install in most cases, see challenging installations and Pre-qualification process. When the devices are delivered to customer, they have been defined in the Controlant cloud and are basically ready to use. Controlant support set up one Admin user and sends login information to the relevant person.
Installation can be split into two phases; a) hardware Installation and b) group setup and alarm configuration
It is important to install the devices with care and with respect to high frequency physics. Please read guidelines regarding Wireless Installing carefully, see 1.3.1 General Wireless Setup
It is also important to prepare how the system should work for the company. For example, it is good practice to have already defined who should get noted if the system sends alerts, what alert groups is suitable for facility, procedure for incidents and so on. Devices and user manual for the FM user interface (FMUI) can be found in accounts will be programed by the time the device(s) arrive to the facility.
