While in the info tab, it is also possible to edit the shipment description. To do this, simply click the pencil icon next to the shipment description in the top right of the info screen.

Chart tab

The chart tab shows a temperature graph for the shipment. The grey line (see chart), is called an ignore period. Ignore period if any is selected when the shipment is created. In the ignore period no warnings are delivered if there are any excursions and the shipment is marked as fine. E.g. when placing a logger, that has been in high temperature, into a freezer then it takes a few minutes for the logger to cool down to the right temperature and therefor the chart under the chart tab might display high temperature spikes in that period.

The chart can be zoomed in on and panned. When fully zoomed out and with lot of data the data points are not visible. When the chart is zoomed the data points become visible. Filled points represent data points with a location behind it and an unfilled point (white) has no location behind it. If a location point is clicked a relevant marker is placed on the map below the chart and the point in the chart is highlighted. If a non-location data point is clicked in the chart the relevant segment in the chart is highlighted, i.e. start and end location points are highlighted and all non-location points in between. The relevant segment on the map is also highlighted and with other paths on the map represented as dashed lines while the highlighted segment is represented as a solid line. The map also zooms in on highlighted segments.

Note: the map-chart interaction feature does not fully work in Internet Explorer.

Rearming loggers

If you're a user with admin permissions permission, you can reset boundary alarms. If a boundary has been triggered for a sensor, it can be reset in the Excursion Boundaries table under the info tab in in the single shipment view. When a boundary is triggered, the triggered column in the table will get

Image Added

A boundary triggered by one or more loggers is indicated by a red exclamation circle icon (it will not change after it has been displayed for the first time) and the armed column will get a red x icon. Clicking the plus icon for the triggered boundary under the details column expands a sub-table where the user can see which sensor was triggered for that boundary. The sub-table shows how many times the boundary was triggered under the column trigger count and whether the boundary is armed or not per sensor. To rearm a boundary for a sensor, click the Rearm button. You are then able to select the time for the alarm to reset by selecting the desired time in the dropdown. Click the green check icon to save the reset. If the time selected is the current time, then the armed column in the sub-table will display a green check icon. If the time selected is in the future, then the armed column displays a clock icon. The icons displayed in the armed column in the parent table depend on the icons in the sub-table. If any sensor has a triggered boundary, then a red x is displayed in the parent table. If a boundary is armed for all sensors in the sub-table, then a green check icon is displayed in the parent table. If a boundary is armed for all sensors, but one will be armed in the future, then the clock icon is displayed in the parent table.

icon.  As a result, the boundary is no longer armed, meaning that the logger will no longer send alerts for this boundary. The icons for boundaries, both armed and unarmed, are a green check mark and a red x as shown in the image below.

Triggered and Armed statuses for boundaries assumes the "worst case" scenario from all loggers in the shipment.

For each boundary the following applies:

  • The boundary status is triggered if one logger in the shipment has triggered a boundary breach.
  • If one logger in the shipment is unarmed the boundary will also show as unarmed.

By clicking the + icon under the Details column, the information for individual loggers appear. They include information whether a particular logger is armed or not, and how many times each logger has triggered this particular boundary.

Once the rearm button has been selected, it is possible to select the loggers that should be rearmed.

Simply tick the checkboxes next to the loggers you want to rearm, and select when the rearming should take effect in the drop-down menu, and press Apply (see image below).

A message will be sent to the loggers and the Armed status updated accordingly.

Image Added

If the boundary for a logger is to be rearmed at a later time, a Clock icon will be shown indicating that the boundary will be rearmed at the set time (see image below).

Image Added

When rearming boundaries, the logger can only receive the command to rearm a boundary when it wakes up. A wake-up only occurs on a preset interval, when a button is pressed on the logger, or if the logger detects an excursion. The earliest any further alerts can be issued by a rearmed logger that is  rearmed is at its next wake-up, regardless of the delay selected. For example, if you select to rearm a logger immediately but the logger is not scheduled to wake up for 40 minutes, the earliest you can receive an alert is in 40 minutes time.

Note that when rearming a logger, the accumulative time - limit will not be reset. This means that if the logger is still experiencing an excursion, an alert will immediately be issued upon when the logger waking wakes up and receiving receives the command to rearm that the boundary. It is recommended that you Do resolve the issue causing an excursion before rearming the boundaries on a logger. Additionally, if the excursion has been resolved, but the logger detects conditions that breach the boundary, it will immediately issue an alert , rather than waiting for the set amount of time again.

Request Report

When a shipment is closed a user can request a report in single shipment view by clicking the button Request Report. Reports can only be requested from shipments that are shipping, delivered and closed. Clicking Request Report will open a modal where the user inserts and an email address and can choose to get extra data with the report by setting some Report config. The Report config has default settings set by the customers administrator but can be overwritten by the user by changing the config in the modal. The config available is setting the timezone for the report, including custom properties in report (only available for customers that have any custom properties), include comments in report, include inspection comments in report and getting additional attachments that are raw shipment data as PDF and raw shipment data as Excel.
