The chart tab shows a temperature graph for the shipment. The grey line (see chart), is called an ignore period. Ignore period if any is selected when the shipment is created. In the ignore period no warnings are delivered if there are any excursions and the shipment is marked as fine. E.g. when placing a logger, that has been in high temperature, into a freezer then it takes a few minutes for the logger to cool down to the right temperature and therefor the chart under the chart tab might display high temperature spikes in that period.
The chart can be zoomed in on and panned. When fully zoomed out and with lot of data the data points are not visible. When the chart is zoomed the data points become visible. Filled points represent data points with a location behind it and an unfilled point (white) has no location behind it. If a location point is clicked a relevant marker is placed on the map below the chart and the point in the chart is highlighted. If a non-location data point is clicked in the chart the relevant segment in the chart is highlighted, i.e. start and end location points are highlighted and all non-location points in between. The relevant segment on the map is also highlighted and with other paths on the map represented as dashed lines while the highlighted segment is represented as a solid line. The map also zooms in on highlighted segments.
Note: the map-chart interaction feature does not fully work in Internet Explorer.
