This minor update of SCM includes an addition to the access control system, enabling which now enables access control based on location countriescountry locations.
In addition to the changes to the access control there are , several minor improvements have been added to the SCM UI.

Country-based access
With this addition to the existing access management system, Admin users can now grant users access to shipments and locations based on country.
This addition will simplify access control for users that need access to shipments and locations related to specific countries. For these uses use cases, it is no longer neccessary necessary to manually grant users access to each and every location belonging to that country. New locations will automatically be added to the users' access claimclaims.
Users can be granted access to:
All locations within a specific country
All shipments with a specific origin country
All shipments with a specific destination country.
User access is may be managed through the Account Admin UI.
Once When released, this feature is released, it will have no impact on the existing SCM setup. The country Country-based access accesses must be manually applied to for each user or role.

Integration Loggers Templates are now accessible

For the customers with system-to-system integration via our Integration API, the Loggers Logger Templates that are used to create shipments are now accessible for Admin users within the Admin Panel in the SCM UI.
Viewing the templates in via a single user interface simplifies the validation. To further simplify the management of the templatesmake template management simpler, Admin users can now Create, Edit, and Delete the Loggers templates as wellLogger Templates.
Note Please note that the Loggers Logger Templates are only compatible with the Integrations API when creating shipments.

Postal

codes are no longer required for locations
When creating a location, a postal code is no longer a required field. This stems from the fact that some countries do not use postal codes, due to many countries not using them. The field remains an optional field.
The change will not affect the defintion definition of any existing locations in the system.
Recalled Loggers are now accessible in the

Loggers tab
Users can now view loggers with the a Recalled status Recalled. The list of recalled loggers is accessible from through the Logger filters within in the Loggers tab.

Adding custom properties to shipments

To reduce the number of actions that are required when a user is adding custom properties to a shipment, the verification step has been removed (green check mark icon).
User A user must simply type in the value or select the appropriate drop-down value.

The number of loggers added to a shipment is visible
During shipment a shipmentâs manual creation process, the number of logger slots that have been added to the shipment is now visible and updated every time a logger is added /or removed from the shipment.
