1 Tab on the Devices tab

2 Select loggers to set warnings to

Select loggers that you want to set temperature warning to (It is possible to select one or perform multi change by selecting upto 50 loggers)

3 Select Set temperature warnings

When loggers have been selected, then go to the selection box, at the bottom of the page, and select "Set temperature warnings" and tap "GO". You are then directed to the Warning Settings page. 


4 Warning Description

Two options

  • Use device description - If selected, the system uses the device description (name given to the device) as a warning description
  • Custom - If Custom is selected, following guidelines appears: 

...

  1. %DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% = Warning description will be the same as device description (same as selecting the first option)
  2. %SENSOR_DESCRIPTION% = Warning description will be the same as sensor description
  3. %DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% WARNING = If a text is added after %DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% or %SENSOR_DESCRIPTION% the warning description will be as same as device or sensor with the additional text
  4. NEW TEXT IN THE BOX = I a new text is written in the box, then the same new text will be added as a warning description to all selected loggers

5 Timezone

Select timezone from the drop down list

6 Alert Settings

Upper and lover Bounds. 

It is possible to define up to four (4) upper and/or lover bounds in total.

Frequency of Alerts

An initial alert is always sent when an excursion happens (at 0 minutes)

Additional alerts can be defined as follows:

Send additional alert every:

 - 60 min (1 x hour) 

 - 30 min (2 x hour)

 - 15 min (4 x hour)

 - 10 min (6 x hour)

It is also possible to define how often above rule applies i.e. should the system send additional alarm every 15 minutes for the first hour and repeat every 5 hours. This means that the supervisor gets one alarm when the excursion occurs, 4 alarms for the next hour (15 min apart) and if the excursion still exist after 5 hours, the additional alerts will be repeated. 

Possible repeats:

 - Every 1 hour

 - Every 5 hours

 - Every 12 hours

 - Every 24 hours

 - Every week


7 Contact Settings

Define who should receive alerts. It is possible to define four (4) email addresses and three (3) SMS mobile numbers

8 Turn Warnings ON/OFF

9 Affected Sensor

A list appears at the bottom of the page showing the sensors that the warnings will have effect on. It is possible to deselect a sensor.

10 Activate Changes

Tap on "APPLY TO SELECTED SENSORS" to activate the changes
