Set Temperature Warnings

1 Tab on the Devices tab

2 Select loggers to set warnings to

Select loggers that you want to set temperature warning to (It is possible to select one or perform multi change by selecting upto 50 loggers)

3 Select Set temperature warnings

When loggers have been selected, then go to the selection box, at the bottom of the page, and select "Set temperature warnings" and tap "GO". You are then directed to the Warning Settings page.

4 Warning Description

Two options

Use device description - If selected, the system uses the device description (name given to the device) as a warning description
Custom - If Custom is selected, following guidelines appears:

For custom descriptions you can use %DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% and/or %SENSOR_DESCRIPTION% as variables (they will get replaced by the system for each sensor independently). Only english alphanumeric characters, spaces and dashes are allowed in warning descriptions and their maximum length is 25 characters (if longer, they will be trimmed).

If following text if written in the text box, the following will happen:

%DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% = Warning description will be the same as device description (same as selecting the first option)
%SENSOR_DESCRIPTION% = Warning description will be the same as sensor description
%DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% WARNING = If a text is added after %DEVICE_DESCRIPTION% or %SENSOR_DESCRIPTION% the warning description will be as same as device or sensor with the additional text
NEW TEXT IN THE BOX = I a new text is written in the box, then the same new text will be added as a warning description to all selected loggers

Select timezone from the drop down list
