#ProblemPossible root causeSolutions
1The loggers in, the van, only delivers the measurement data randomlyThe RF communication between the logger and the gateway is possibly bad. The loggers can possible connect to the gateway when the cargo area is empty but when it is full of cargo (depending on the type) the goods can block the RF signal.
  1. Check if the gateway is connected to a power
  2. Check if the gateway can connect to the cellular network (Done in the user interface)
  3. Check if the two RF antennas is securely fastened on the gateway
  4. Check the location of the gateway. In some cases, the gateway has been placed under the dashboard. The metal in the dashboard and the electric cables can effect the RF communications. If the gateway is placed under the dashboard, do one of below:
    1. Move the gateway and fasten it in a vertical position behind the passenger or the driver seat
    2. Extend the two RF antennas with a 50 ohm coax cable (RG58 cable) and place the antennas behind the driver seat or in a place where the connectivity to the loggers is optimized.
2The logger shows NO or BAD connection to the gateway in the van
