In the User Management view, Admin users can create a new user, modify an existing user, and reset passwords for users. A user can be disabled and activated by Admin user.

Create a new user

  1. Press the Wrench in the upper right corner.

2. Press the Users button to enter the Users Management view.

3. Press the Create a New User button to see the Create a New User view.

4. Fill in the Username, First name, Last name, E-mail and Access level and press the Create button to finish creating the user.

The new user has been created and is visible in the applicable list.

Modify a user

  1. Press the Wrench in the upper right corner

2. Press the Users button to enter the Users Management view.

3. Find the user you want to modify.

4. Press the Pencil on the right side in the User Information box of the user you wish to modify user rights.

5. Modify the user rights accordingly and press the Save button to confirm the choice.

User rights have now been modified.

Reset password for a user

  1. Press the Wrench in the upper right corner.

2. Press the Users button to enter the Users Management view.

3. Select a user and reset the password by pressing the Key icon on the right side in the User Information box.

4. Press the Reset Password button to send a notice to the user.

For a newly created user who has never set a password for the assigned user rights, a new user can be sent another password activation email. The same window appears for the user whose password has just been reset.

5. A link is sent to the user’s email address. The user whose password is reset must double-click the link in the email to access the site and change the password.

Make sure the New Password field and the New Password (again) field match. A warning appears if the passwords do not match.

5. Press the Set Password button.

The password change is confirmed on the Success! page and the new password takes effect immediately.

Disable user

  1. Press the Wrench in the upper right corner.

2. Press the Users button to enter the Users Management view.

3. Find the user you want to disable.

4. Press the Pencil on the right side in the User Information box of the user you wish to disable.

5. Change the Status for the user from Active to Disabled.

A user is grayed out in the User Management view once disabled.

To activate the user again the user is edited again by clicking the Pencil on the right side of the User Information box and the Status of the user changed from Disabled to Active.
