What is it?

On the Audit Trails page, the Admin user is able to trace shipment actions by users and resources during a selected timeframe. Automatic actions performed by the Controlant platform, for example, automatically closed shipments, are also included.

Where do I find it?

In the “My control panel” section of the Account Admin.

Navigating the new interface

Where to find it?

A new and improved interface is available when you click on the link in the banner on top. You can switch back and forth between the two interfaces depending on the timeframe you need data from.

The new interface only contains records created after May 26, 2023.

How to use it?

You can filter records based on the following criteria:

  • User

  • Date

  • Category

  • ID or Reference

Navigating the previous interface

Selection is confirmed by clicking on the GO button.

The following options are available, as shown in the image below:

  • Show

    • My actions…

    • All actions by a user…

    • All actions on a resource…

  • During timeframe

    • Last 24 hours

    • last 48 hours

    • Last 72 hours

    • Last 7 days

    • Last 14 days

    • Last 30 days

    • Last 3 months

    • Last 6 months

    • Custom…

The information displayed in the list of actions include:

  • Name and E-mail

    • Actions performed on shipments by the internal system are shown in the audit trail as actions made by Controlant System.

  • Username and Access Level

  • Resource Type and Resource ID

  • Time of Action and Action

  • Details (magnifying glass).

To view individual actions, the Admin user clicks on the magnifying glass under Details. The + inside a magnifying glass is a closed window and the - an open window. The Audit Entry Details displayed in an open window include:

  • Session

  • Status

  • Info

    • Audit trail entry about the Action

  • Data Snapshot

    • The complete text in the Info field is expanded here

All actions…

The My actions… options displays the action of the Admin user signed into the Account Admin system for a selected timeframe.

The window on the image below shows a successful password change.

All actions by a selected user during a selected timeframe.

An action item by a selected user in the Actions list.

All actions on a resource…

When the All actions on a resource… option is selected, the Admin user can choose the type of resources during a chosen timeframe, as shown on the image below.

Resource types include:

  • Account/Administrative

    • User

    • User Setting

    • User Setting (Old)

    • Company Setting

    • Customer

    • Serviced Customer

  • Access Management

    • Comments: Shipment ID required

    • Role: Role ID required

    • Role Access: Role ID required

    • User assigned to role: Role ID required

    • Role assigned to user: User ID required

    • User Access: User ID required

    • Product: Product ID required

    • Shipment Products: Shipment ID required

  • Common Resources

    • Client Device

    • Service Device

    • Device Sensor

    • Warning

    • Location
