New configuration for shipment quality status
Previously, available shipment quality statuses were fixed and shipments could be given the following statuses; Good or Bad.
With this release we are adding a new set of quality statuses as a customer configuration. Administrators can, through Account Admin UI, choose between:
Good, Bad, Undecided or
Released, Partly Released, Rejected, Undecided.
The existing quality statuses will be the default configuration and to acquire the new set of quality statuses the setting must be updated manually.
With this change we are hoping to provide our users with the option of using terminology that is the same, or at least close to what is used in practise for shipment disposition.
The shipment quality status is automatically set by the system if there are no excursion, but in case there is an exception a user must go into the system and manually update the status in the inspection modal before closing the shipment record.
Inspection Properties - new property type
A new type of properties, Inspection Properties, is added to the system. The purpose is to provide our customers with the option to enrich the data with information relating to quality inspection. Defined Inspection Properties will be available in the Inspection Modal and the idea is that the person handling quality release can enter all the relevant information with regards to product release in the same place.
See below Quality Inspection window with three added Inspection properties; Root Cause, Actions taken and Excursion Classification.
The Inspection properties can be free text or multiple choice and are created and maintained through the Account Admin UI.
