The purpose of the Incident System is to keep track of any events that might affect the temperature in the monitored area.
All users can create an Incident but only Admin users can edit and close Incidents.
It is possible to create an Incident based on events or no events.
1. Select the Asset that you are interested in viewing and select the Incident tab.
2. Select the Create an Incident button.
3. The Incident registration page will display with the following fields:
- Incident type - List of Incident categories - (Account specific incident types will be added later)
- Status - Status of the Incident registration
- Incident summary - Summary text
- Root Cause
- Corrective Action
- Preventive Action
- Available events to select relating to the incident. Change the time period to view past events.
4. Find the relevant Event(s) for the Incident
Change the From and To dates. A list of events will appear that have occurred within the time period.
5. A list of Events will appear.
6. Select the events that you would like to include in the Incident.
- Or, select none if you would like to create an incident without linking it to events.
7. Select the Incident Type from the drop-down menu.
- Incident types
- Door left open
- Cooling unit failure
- Electricity failure
- No products in the area
- Heavy use
- Defrosting
- Inventory counting
- Incorrect system configuration
- System configuration change
- Others
- Note: The option of account specific incident types will be added later.
8. Type the relevant Incident information.
9. Select "Create Incident" to register the incident.
10. View Created Incidents
- To view all registered incidents, you must first select the relevant Asset and then the Incident tab.
- It is possible to filter registered incidents according to their Status. For instance:
- Open - Draft
- Closed
- View All
11. Edit an Incident (Only Admin Users)
- Note: Only an Administrator can edit an Incident.
- The System Administrator can give a user Admin privileges for part of the system (for example, for one pharmacy).
- Select the Edit icon to edit and select "Save Changes" when you are finished.
12. Closing an Incident
- Close the "Close" button to Close.
13. Closed Incidents
- Incidents cannot be reopened or deleted in the System.
14. Open a closed Incident
- Both Normal and Admin users can open closed Incidents.
- Click anywhere on the Incident to open.

- Incidents is accessible on asset level (Will be changed in 2020)
- Events is not labeled with incident ID number when they are included in incident report (Will be added in version 2.7.0)
- It is not possible to subscribe to incidents (Will be added in 2020)
- Incident reports are not included in this version (Will be added in version 2.7.0)
