Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) is an optional feature that can be activated by Controlant.

Logging in with MFA
If MFA has been enabled on an account all users are required to login with a MFA code delivered to the user’s email inbox or via SMS.
Step 1: Login with your username and password.
Step 2: Enter the MFA code received by email or SMS and press Log In.
Changing delivery method of MFA code
Default delivery method of MFA code is via email. A user can choose to switch the method to SMS within the SCM Platform.
Step 1: Open User Settings.
Step 2: Change MFA Method from E-mail to SMS.
If no phone number is defined, the user cannot change the method to SMS.
Before changing to SMS, please verify the phone number is correct.
Enabling the feature
Controlant Administrator can activate the feature. Once enabled all users are requested to enter the security code after successfully logging in with a username and password.
