Release date:
Minor release to the SCM solution focusing on allowing more loggers in a single shipment and adding analysis capabilities to the Product module.
Two patches were applied to the release during testing. See details on the patches here:
The current version of SCM solution is therefore 2.12.2.
12 Loggers allowed in each shipment
We are increasing the maximum limit of loggers in each shipment from 4 to 12.
To accommodate more loggers in a shipment we have made several changes to improve the user experience in terms of viewing the data and the speed of loading data.
Info tab
Logger status has been added to the logger table. This allows users of better overview of the status of each logger and helps with quick troubleshooting. An example would be that a user has not received a delivery report despite the loggers have been collected from the shipment and stopped. The user can now log into the SCM platform and see immediately if logger(s) have not been successfully stopped.
User can filter the Event Log by loggers. With 12 loggers in on shipment the Event Log can get quite crowded. Adding the filter allows the user to view the event log for specific logger(s) at a time.
Admin user can rearm multiple loggers at the same time. Rearm function is accessible to Admin users only. If a boundary is not armed the user can select the loggers by clicking a corresponding checkbox and then apply the action for all selected loggers at once.
Chart tab
With more loggers allowed per shipment the Chart tab will not load automatically data from all loggers within the shipment. Initially the user will be presented with an Envelope of min and max values from all loggers where a dashed line with the mean value is drawn in between. The Envelope can be turned on and off using a check box.
By hovering over the Envelope with a cursor the user can see the min, mean and max values from the loggers for each time period.
It is possible to select individual loggers to be displayed on the chart, but a maximum of six loggers at a time.
Data tab
Similar changes were made on the Data tab as on the Chart tab. To speed up loading of the user interface limited amount of data is loaded when the user opens the view. On initial load the Data tab will not show any data.
To view data from specific logger user can access the logger list from the drop down tool in the top left corner. As with the Chart tab, the maximum number of loggers that can be displayed at once is six loggers.
If the shipment duration is more than 72 hours a Show More button will appear on the bottom of the data table. Click the button to load more data.
Note: Downloading Excel or CSV files will always return all data from all the loggers in the shipment, regardless what loggers have been selected to be displayed.
Products - Analysis of stability budget
The Products module is a new feature that we introduced with SCM v2.11.0. The feature allows our customers to import product-related data into the Controlant platform and link it to Controlant shipments. This will provide a detailed, real-time overview of your products in the supply chain. Product-related data can include a name, transport condition, batch number, and product stability data.
Note: The new Products Module will initially be available only through our API Integration.
Products that have been associated with shipments in the Controlant platform will be analyzed based on their defined product stability data against the temperature measurements of all the loggers within the shipment.
Products that have used up all the allowed stability budget will be flagged.
User can select a single product to view further details on the stability budget assessment e.g. what rule(s) have been breached, how much is the total budget consumption as well as individual assessment based on each logger.
