Controlant Facility Monitoring installation contains two parts: 1) User access (group) setup plus alarm configuration then 2) Hardware installation.
Before the devices arrive for installation, please decide and define who is responsible for monitoring and addressing Controlant system alerts, which alert groups are suitable for your facility, and internal procedures for excursions. Here is an overview of this process: 1.3.5 First steps.
Devices and user accounts will be programed by the time the device(s) arrive to the facility. Controlant's Support team will set up Admin access and user logins by email. Here is the Facility Monitoring cloud-based platform manual: 1.4 Manuals and Instructions.
Due to the high frequency of Controlant's wireless devices, installation must be completed according to these guidelines: 1.3.1 General Wireless Setup.
